About the Speaker

About 
Benjamin Reese is a Bible Professor and Librarian at The Institute for Global Outreach Developments (G.O.D.) in Nashville. He's a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with additional bachelor degrees from The Institute for G.O.D. He has a master's in Library & Information Science from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. His expertise surrounds writing, teaching, drama, and poetry.

Ben regularly lends his skills as an editor for various faith-based publications, has written several successful grants, and performed creative writing, poetry, and plays in Chicago and Nashville. He loves teaching the Bible and specializes in Hebrew Poetry. Ben also directs an after-school program in Nashville, writing a middle-school youth curriculum, and assessing program effectiveness.

During the pandemic, Ben hosted a podcast featuring Institute for G.O.D. Founder and President Gregg Garner titled: "THOUGHTS: Theological Conversations during COVID" (available on Apple).

Ben was homeschooled for a portion of his childhood and is proud to carry on a legacy of faith, being the third generation of Christian ministers in his family.
