We are loving the Basic American Government course from Boundary Stone! This in-depth look into our country’s history, the history of other governments, and the intention behind the most famous documents of our country’s history is proving to be invaluable as I walk no one, but two high school students through US Government. With both text and video, as well as an online component, I am able to teach my children (and learn quite a bit myself) in a way that works incredibly well for our homeschool. Going through this program now, we are able to see how the government has changed over the years and why it is so important that we understand basic principles, including that America is not actually a democracy.

If you are looking to dive deep into political history and get a deeper grasp of what the American Government should look like, I highly recommend this course from Boundary Stone.

My daughter just finished the Basic Economic course from Boundary Stone. She really loved it. She felt the curriculum was easy to understand, fun, and interesting. Her favorite part was the real-life examples–seeing the economics in movies she enjoys helped her better understand the principles in action. She learned so much about economic principles and their role in the free market and decision-making.

As a mom with a degree in economics, I felt this was a well-rounded and put together course. Economic principles are so valuable for our children to learn. They infiltrate every aspect of our society so understanding how they work is important.

I would highly recommend Boundary Stone’s Basic Economics course.
